I'm Barbara and I'm an illustrator living near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, U.S. My style of art is playful, fun, and contemporary. I begin with a sketch then import it into Procreate and/or Photoshop to complete it. Most of my illustrations are of cats, as I run a business called Blushing Meow—a purpose-driven business—where a portion of the profits from my product sales go to five cat sanctuaries in the U.S. I also work as a graphic designer as my day job for a media firm, which produces 3 national magazines and 2 local publications.
